After graduating college, he returned home to realize the full extent of his value. Rather than just another normal person lost in the sea of professionals. A man who found courage in heartbreak to become a champion for his people’s causes. The journey of his youth that ended with learning his Alaska Native culture, thousands of years old.
The Gwich'in Climate Report
The Gwich'in Climate Report will be released by the University of Alaska Press this month. The Gwich'in will add their voices to the national conversations on climate impacts in the U.S. The report was financed by a prestigious fellowship and was done in 2005 and 2020. It was to give voice to elders and hunters on the impact of Climate Change, but also their ideas for improved management and adaptation and messages to the world.
Compilation of Papers, Essays, and Letters
A compilation of academic and periodical writings on a great number of political and ecological issues that were occuring in Alaska during the early 2000s, which have not really changed, sadly.
